Overview
KRATOS provides automatic identification of people using a combination of facial recognition and RFID technology. KRATOS performs 100% security checks for each person in less time than it takes to start your car and provides a complete security solution. Users can control access based on hours of the day, individual level of trust, specific input conditions, sequence of users admitted, geofencing and which group or department a user belongs to.
A main feature is KRATOS does not require a central database and is therefore inoculated againts hacker attacks. It offers significant enhancements over today’s access control / security alternatives because KRATOS is cancelable and Zero Knowledge (ZK) compliant.
Features:
1. KRATOS promotes both Active and Passive Security Solution
Active security solutions require the owner / super user to maintain grey lists, black lists and other processes to protect the integrity of security credentials. These ensure unauthorized use is inhibited.
Passive security solutions require no burden on the owner / super user to protect the integrity of the security credentials. If the credentials get into the hands of unauthorized users they are unable to reverse engineer any knowledge to gain access from the system. They are easily cancelled and contain no data (Zero Knowledge aka ZK) that is beneficial for unauthorized access.
2. KRATOS is easy to use
The system requires just two processes. Enrollment is the process of defining important parameters such as:
- Assigning a level of trust to a user
- Constructing a digital bit string to represent your face
- Specifying any time constraints on access
- Defining group and other properties for advanced features
3. Illuminator
KRATOS has built in state of the art LED lights with a lux indicator to automatically adjust for brightness to enhance facial recognition under all lighting conditions.
4. Level of Trust
The main application is 24 x 7 controlled accesses for a designated area. Typically this involves verifying a user’s identity to determine their level of trust and then taking some action such as signaling an electronic strike to open a controlled door. In our vision of security, trust controls the area of a facility you are permitted to visit, which documents you may review, what information you can peruse and the authority you can exercise over specified resources at set times and locations. KRATOS is designed to assign level of trust in a brisk!
4. Differentiator
Our solution has several major advantages over conventional biometric analysis:
- Elimination of false accepts (FA) without unacceptable compromise in terms of more probable false rejects (FR)
- Straight forward key-management
- Cryptographically rigorous protection of each user’s biometric data in conjunction with the verification step performed by KRATOS
KRATOS’ Bio-mashing algorithm performs better in terms of false accept and false reject rates compared to Iris and Voice. If you consider ease of cloning we also offer better false accept rates than either fingerprint or PIN.
