Pentamaster provides a wide range of products from readers to tags and middleware solutions. Tags may be of Active or Passive in which the differences are based on whether they are battery assisted or not. Our middleware can be customized as independent program or to be integrated into existing enterprise systems.
Active Tags are completely powered by internal or external source. Active tags can achieve the read range of more than 10 meters. Active tags are generally employed in real-time location tracking applications namely the movement of human beings, animals, vehicles, valuable assets and et cetera. Frequency bandwidth : 308Mhz, 430Mhz, 915 Mhz (ISM1), and 2450Mhz (ISM2).
Passive tags completely rely on received power to power up. The read range of these tags is usually below 5 meters. These tags are commonly used in the supply chain namely for tracking of consumer goods for inventories, assets, shipments and deliveries; asset management and access control. Frequency bandwidth : 125kHz, 13.56Mhz, 860 – 960 Mhz
